People have varying opinions about whether a city is an appropriate place for raising a child or whether a village can be far more suitable than cities. From my perspective, while there are certain profound and constructive advantages of living in urban areas, I believe that individuals should prioritize the countryside for growing children, as they can lead a healthy lifestyle, have a better environment, and enjoy numerous outdoor activities, which are highly beneficial for a child’s development.
There are a number of reasons why a rural area is far more crucial for children’s upbringing than a metropolitan area. One compelling reason is that the countryside ensures a sustainable environment for children. By leaving an insecure ecosystem, village minors are more cured and healthy than city juveniles from chronic diseases, such as heart disease, asthma, and so on. Moreover, another possible reason is that village adolescents can play a variety of types of outdoor activities such as football, cricket, and swimming, which helps them to avoid online games and social media platforms. For example, when children participate in competitive physical games, like cricket, they can learn a lot of self-help skills, including leadership, communication, and making informed decisions.
Despite the aforementioned advantages, the countryside has some limitations. First and foremost, it is very challenging to find specialized schools in village. If the children cannot access a sophisticated education system due to qualified teachers and facilities, they would not be able to acquire higher scores in examinations and this prevents them from broadening their practical knowledge compared with students of city schools. Secondly, cities offer numerous opportunities for children, such as art and music competitions. They can also spend their leisure time in meaningful ways by visiting historical landmarks, and museums, which enhances their historical and traditional knowledge such a young age. Nevertheless, it is very difficult to find those recreational activities in rural area.
In conclusion, although metropolitan areas offer various facilities and amenities for children, I firmly believe that the benefits of raising adolescents in a village outweigh the potential disadvantages, as the countryside ensures a better environment, fresh food, and allows them to do outdoor activities.
