Nowadays, volunteering is encouraged by the society. Many youngsters are willing to work for the welfare of society without any money. It is believed by many individuals that doing unpaid jobs is not only beneficial for teenagers but also for the community. I completely agree that young people must do volunteer work because it is helpful for their personal development and provides solutions to society.
To begin with, teenagers can easily enhance their personality by working with local communities. Additionally, these communities help youngsters to learn various crucial skills, such as communication and teamwork. If the student works for any non-profit organization, they can get early company exposure, and big companies always look for volunteer work in their resume. For instance, My sister, Ankita got a job at “Unilever” company because she learned skills by working unpaid work and HR appreciated her for this. Hence, teenagers can develop their personalities with local communities.
Furthermore, young people provide creative ideas to society. Besides this, teenagers can provide support to the community in various ways, such as designing, marketing, and fundraising. Most of the time societies follow the old-traditional methods, which are not so much effective in this contemporary era. So, individuals provide creative ideas to solve their problems. For example, in my society an NGO organized an event every month to spread awareness about cancer; however, the number of people who joined this event was quite twenty. But when a new trainee posted about this program on Instagram, more than 300 people joined this event. As a result, teenagers’ participation in community work is beneficial.
In conclusion, volunteering is significantly crucial for both teenagers and society. By working with local communities, youngsters can develop their personality, which might be helpful for their careers. In addition, teenagers are providing solutions to the challenges faced by societies.
