It is believed that art is not essential anymore and is recommended to allocate more budget to science and technology. I disagree with this statement and in this essay I will provide some substantial arguments.
First of all, art is inherent and inevitable in our life and its importance can not be diminished. Despite the fact, that the majority of people nowadays do not pursue art professionally, it accompanies us all the time, improving cognitive skills and imagination even without realizing it. For example, attending drawing classes in childhood allows individuals reflect thoughts and ideas on a paper. Today, scientists and technology engineers’ works are straightforwardly connected with art, as making schemes require drawing proficiencies.
Secondly, painting serves as a stress release equipment for anxious people. In some cases art might not approach in career prospects, however it provides aim for dealing with overthinking and anxiety. For instance, therapists and psychologists frequently offer designing and pottery in their practice, in order to cope with hyperactivity, impatience or nervousness. Due to the influence that art makes to brain cells, also releasing dopamine and at the same time calming nerve cells. In addition, it is widely known technique that supports mental being and concentration skills and its importance is significant.
In conclusion, there are many positive pros art provides, such as benefits at work and therapeutic usage. Population needs it for employment and own psychological state. So, I do not agree with the satement that states for diverting funding to the improvement of scientific and technological inventions.
