In recent years, education has become a pivotal topic of debate. There is a belief that single-sex education helps children study more effectively than coeducation does. I firmly agree with this perspective and this essay will elaborate some reasons.
First of all, studying in a single-sex school create a very relaxed environment for students. Boys and girls don’t have to worry about impressing the other gender. Thus, they can tatally pay attentions to tutorials and stay clear of unnecessary misconducts. For example, the teenage love appears more and more in educational environment, instead of acquiring the knowledge, students go to school with the purpose of meeting their boyfriends or girlfriends.
Seconally, single-sex education allows children to develop their own natures. The curriculum is normally tailored so as to best fit the needs and characters of each other. For example, there may be literature books that feature strong heroines, or books with an emotional story that resonate more with girls than boys.
In conclusion, although coeducation has its own advantages, I think that single-sex education is still better due to providing a convenient studying environment for children and developing their own abilities and instincts.
