I consider that cooperation is much better than rivalry as coordination leads to productive outcomes.

Other than that, opposition in school students create conflicts that stressed the students mentally and physically. For instance a moderate pupil of class is in competition with the topper then he will get jealous from him and tried to harm that topper as a result learning environment diminish and promote unfriendly decorum of the school that disturb other students as well.
Conversely, collaboration advantages outweigh the rivalry cons working in a smooth situations and assisting others who need them creates a healthy environment, that is clean from any social conflicts and ultimately tend to be more productive. if, for example employee in a firm work together without any comparison among each other resulted in a unprecedented success for the company. Moreover, newcomers also got a chance to learn from seasoned professionals and get a wealth of experience from the knit community of employees.
To sum up, positive contest is somehow better than conflicting one, but teamwork and mutual aid is above everything as it is a valuable tool toward the foster the development.
