There are varying opinions from people on whether living in a small town is better or in a big city. I believe, the deciding factor will be lifestyle and how people want to spend their time. There will always be key points where each of the option might be more appealing the other.
To begin with, living in small town has it’s own prospects such as less crowd, lower air and noise pollution. Due to lower population, neighbours and families will be more closer and maintain stronger relationships. With that said, you are much likely to be more connected to individuals around you, which cannot be often said about a city lifestyle.
On the other hand, living in a big city has it’s own advantages such as better job opportunities, access to wide range of private services, and opportunity to connect with new people. In terms of job opportunities, big cities are clear winners as most of the large corporations will be establised in cities, which as a result present with numerious positions. In addition to that, companies will approach big cities to launch their services. For example, if Amazon introduces a drone delivery service, they will profit more operating in a city with millions of people, in contrast to a town where the figure is significantly lower.
To conclude, the decision to either live in a town or a big metropolis comes down to each individual and how they want to continue their journey of life. Personally, I prefer living a city because I find quality of life much better.
