There are varying opinions on whether living in a small town is better or in a big city. I believe the deciding factor is lifestyle and how people want to spend their time. There are key factors where each option is more appealing the other.
To begin with, living in a small town has its own prospects such as less congestion, lower air and noise pollution. Due to lower population, neighbours and families are closer and maintain stronger relationships. With that said, you are more connected to individuals around you, which cannot be said about a city lifestyle.
On the other hand, living in a big city has its own advantages such as better job opportunities, access to wide range of private services, and opportunity to connect with new people. In terms of job opportunities, big cities are clear winners as most large corporations are establised in cities, which, as a result present with numerous positions. In addition to that, companies will approach big cities to launch their services. For example, if Amazon introduces a drone delivery service, they will profit more operating in a city with millions of people, in contrast to a town where the population is significantly lower.
To conclude, the decision to either live in a town or a big metropolis comes down to each individual and how they want to continue their life journey. Personally, I prefer living in a city because of the quality of life.
