Financing exibitions of big forms of art such as sculpted works in open spaces is considered to be crucial by some individuals. Although there are some critical views of it, I am in full consensus with this standpoint due to the reasons which will be given in the next part of the essay.
On the one hand, instead of spending this money on the art sector, the government can finance those which do have more need to be supported including the healthcare system, education or other things alike. There are several countries in the world suffering from a lack of funding in public healthcare, particularly Central African states, and are unable to focus on other sectors.
On the other hand, following art plays a crucial role in encouraging public curiosity to art and developing human’s cognitive skills, those which are related to their imagination in particular. Furthermore, it would be a better solution to reduce the propensity of crime among human beings since art disapproves of unacceptable activities. According to the statistics, which were collected by a group of scientists who are doing research on the positive effects of various pieces of art, the average rate of crime in Italy significantly decreased thanks to exibitions of historical forms of art across the country.
In conclusion, investing money in presenting larger art forms like sculptures in outdoor spaces should be paid great attention because of numerous reasons as these efforts promote interest in art among induviduals.
