Pets have long been concidered an integral part of human life, contributing to the healthy development of children and fostering harmony within families. In addition, many individuals avoid keeping pets due to its financial burden, I firmly believe that, they play a crucial role in reducing stress and promoting social interaction. Consequently, children should have the right to grow up with pets, provided that they connot have health condition and that could be exaserbated by animals.
Critics of home ownership argue that a substantial financial obligation can be attributed to having pets. It is undenieble that taking care of animals is exorbidantly expensive. This includes daily food, grooming and vaccination, which can place an excessive financial burden on families. For instance, families with lower socio-econnomic backgrounds, who are already underpreviliged and must priorotize children’s needs, may suffer due to inability to afford an animal. Therefore, before acquiring a pet, individuals should conssider their financial situation.
Nevertheless, I firmly believe that pets can significantly reduce stress and improve emotional well-being. Many studies have shown that interacting with animals lowers cortisol levels and increases social interaction and promotes relaxation. As a consequence, help children regulate their emotions more efficiently, especially during stress situations, including social challenges and academic pressure. This emotional support can boost children’s confidence and improve their ability to cope with difficulties.
In addition to reducing stress, owning a pet can encourage social interaction and the developmnet of communicational skills. To illustrate, walking a dog or taking a pet to the community places often leads to conversation with strangers. This helps children become confident in new situations. Moreover, interacting with others through pets can teach children important social skills, such as empathy and patience. As a result, children who regularly engage in such activities tend to form dtronger relationships within ther community.
