Many people believe that doing non-academic skills is more crucial than learning school subjects. This essay aims to explain both side with my personal point of view about innovation and creativity.
One thing that will not be replaced by robots is creativity and creativity has a strong connection with practical skills. Such activities, like fixing cars or do culinary cooks, both need an ability that not everyone can do without an adequate trials. This skills are somehow more applicable in daily life and tend to be more enjoyable as people don’t stuck with only writing or counting with a piece of paper but the need of an action to make it into a reality. In this aspect, some may be used to practice a learning by doing systems because they might be poor in memorizing.
Numerous of genius people are known as someone who loves to read books and have incredible credits in school. They have talents to understand even to remember the lessons well. Theories they learned are basically the foundation of everything, there is a need of everything to be defined as a something so that it can be understandable for everyone. Everything that is related with systems and processes have reasons why did it happened like that, therefore this is what academical people are doing. They usually publish what they have learned or found as a textbook. These people are someone who explore things deeper.
In summary, both aspects have their own uniqueness and benefits that are useful to make the world into a better place. Something that needs to be done in action might need a creativity and practices. In contrast, for academic studies they need a good memory skills to be able to understand all theories that are useful to our life too.
