There is a widespread opinion, that the level of country economics can be increased by migrants. While some people believe that foreigners are useful for growth, others argue that they create a high pressure to public services. This essay will discuss both points of view and argue in favour of the first.
First and foremost, the main advantage of migrants is the quantity of working hands. Usually, these people tend to work manually, rather than intellectually. Moreover, it is well known that there is a constant deficiency in a hard labour professionals among the local citizens. For example, a large corporation “SIBUR” was build in Tobolsk by migrants. Obviously, that the project could not be done without foreign colleagues. Thus, the economics growth “SIBUR” made for Russia would not be realised without migrants.
However, it is a common belief that foreigners create difficulties for public services. Certainly, it is a fact, because those people still need to use at least medical services as evebody need in the host country. Furthermore, they have to pass examination every year, which makes them heavy users due to their quantity. For instance, people in Tobolsk who needed medical help had to stay in a long queue because of them.
In my opinion, migrants really improve the economics situation in the host country. Moreover, they do not stay forever, usually migrants go back when the project ends.
In conclusion, some people claim, that migrants have a negative impact on public services, while other insist, that they create economics growth for the country. I agree with the second opinion.
