It is a controversial issue that social media such as Facebook have adverse effects on the public, society, and local communities. While I believe that social network site has a beneficial impact on everyone, I agree that they have had a damaging effect on regional communities.
First, for the individuals, I trust that they can get good advantages from social publishing. For instance, society from various countries share their knowledge, traditions, and culture online. This is helpful for people around the world to study about various countries from where they live. Moreover, humans have their social groups on media where they can meet individuals who have the same interests and ambitions and discuss the topics.
In contrast, it is believed that Facebook and other social networking sites have detrimental effects on societies and local communities. One popular fact is that a number of teenager gets cyberbullied throughout the internet rather than participating in the community. For example- more than half of the students around the world are depressed due to the fact of cyberbullying. Furthermore, society around the world no longer forms close or warm relationships. They become disjointed owing to the fact that they spend most of their time alone chatting with people who can’t be seen face to face.
To conclude, although social publishing brings constructive things to everyone, it can be seen that people become more socially anti than previously. Consequently, regional people should try to involve regional families in activities in order to promote the future of the neighborhood of future life.
