it is often said that children need money management courses, but others think that parents must provide this opportunity. i believe that schools should be taught how to manage money.
financial education must be in every school. i think its as important as math, history and others general classes. but schools can teach it better than parents, money management needs strong system to teach and not anyone can do it right. parents often don’t have teacher’s skills or structure programmes that schools have. so i think schools need to make an individual program for every age to teach how to manage money.
but there is another side, i think parents should also teach their children basic things like finance, communication, safety and sex education. if they hope only on only school, it will not always be good idea, it depends on which teachers in their school and their qualifications. in government schools like mine, teachers often give their classes without knowledge and they’re weren’t interested to really teach us to something.
overall, i would like to schools have a classes that taught young people about things they’re have to know and use everyday. but parents too need to controlling a process and help their kids to understand it. everyone should know these skills and i don’t understand why it doesn’t teach at school yet. i hope that education system will be changed soon.
