Managing money is the mandatory skill that everyone should learn to know the importance of saving and utilizing money in an appropriate way. There are certain people who claim that children among varies ages should learn the importance of money in early days in their school. However, I am completely opposing with this statement and in my forthcoming paragraph I shall elucidate my viewpoint.
To begin with, Children now-a-days learn plethora of subjects in their school along with that they also perform various kinds of extracurricular activities. Therefore, implementing an additional subject in their syllabus can cause extra burden to them which is unnecessary. Additionally, rather than learning a subject like money management, it is important for them to learn some real- world subjects like- physics, computers arts, maths and many more. Studying these subjects will not only open multiple career options for them but also makes them successful in their future.
Furthermore, I believe that rather than teaching this subject it would be better if school introduce subjects like – sports, environmental studies, general knowledge etc. That will keep them aware about the nations and their surroundings that makes them knowledgeable.
However, if children learn the importance of money management it will make them more responsible. It will allow them to analyse the importance of earning and saving money. They will try to get a job in their early age which helps them to boost their self-confidence and will also allow them to gather work experience in a minimal age.
To conclude, despite of having some advantages I still believe that teenagers should focus on mandatory subjects rather than this additional one, to build a generous career.
