In today’s fast paced world, many individuals argue that studying variety of subjects during school years is handy in some ways , while others believe that it is a waste of time because students should learn something useful for future life. I am in complete agreement with first viewpoint because of the fact that with trying several fields, children may realize their ability and choose their future path.
Firstly, the most fundamental reason for giving negative ideas about learning a wide range of subjects is mainly for saving time, however, in school, students have enough time to get to know new knowledge and try different things except science. For example, If teacher only focus on academic and scientific subjects, children may easily get tired with its difficulty. Actually, in university, people should focus mainly on future career.
Secondly, there are different subject in school schedule, which is handy for improve children’s skills, such as painting and sports. Attending in several activities can help to pupil realize her or his ability to do something better than others and finding their favorite path which is can be their occupation in the future. For example, well-known painter Liam Hemsworth noticed his ability because of painting lessons in school.
In conclusion, there is a growing trend where some people think having many subjects in school schedule is wasting time, however, others believe that it is an useful part of school. In my view, having a big schedule with different activities is the most beneficial way to make wide-minded students. Specialized teaching should be in universities and colleges.
