A group of people believes that the most effective way to fix the environmental issues is increasing prices on petrol for private vehicles. I partly disagree with this statement because people are able to pay any price for it and of course there is another solution of this problem.
Firstly, it is impossible for people to live without the availability of transportation so almost every human will pay for their comfort because you can go anywhere by car or bus. This issue touches the whole world and as far as I know there are a plenty of citizens who are rich and have opportunities for buying gasoline so it is does not matter for them what price it is. For instance, if people do not use private vehicles, they will travel by public transport which in turn requires fuel as well. Due to it, the prices on it will be also increased which will lead to the problems in economic sector and lower standard of living.
In my viewpoint, the most practical measure at this moment is to use alternatives fuels. The world and technologies are constantly changing by discovering new resources and new inventions. It means that nowadays there are thousands of hybrid cars or completely new type of vehicles – electric cars. An example of it is “Tesla” which was developed and produced in the USA by Ilon Musk and now is used almost in every country. The owners of such vehicles just need to charge them and do not pay for gazoline. They do not produce gas emissions and do not pollute the atmosphere what is also very important for the environment.
To sum up, the high costs of fuel for cars and vehicles will be just a temporary measure but not the number one decision for environment. Inhabitants should use alternative fuels to reduce air poisoning.
