In this age, more and more people believe that the government should capitalize on public transportation while others think constructing more roads is more essential. Personally, I partly disagree the opinion that the government need to invest more in public transportation. This essay will examine both sides of the argument before a reasoned conclusion is drawn.

On the one hand, public transportation might bring numerous of merit for individuals in many situations. Due to the conveniences it has, dwellers may be able to commute more easily. For example, Japanese people nowadays are using metro to transport to difference destinations rapidly instead of using motorbikes or cars since it could help them commute without difficulties. Additionally, public transport might not cause the pollution in country. Air pollution, which is a kind of pollution that is destroying people’s health and the ecosystem. It mostly come from cars and motorbikes that releasing the CO2, so the environment become more polluted and dangerous for individuals. Therefore, by using public transportation, dwellers could minimize the air pollution issue and contribute to have a cleanest environment.

On the other hand, if people are depending on public transportation too much, it will bring them some negative effects. Firstly, when it comes to the rush hour, if dwellers are using metro at the moment, pushing condition will be a worrying topic. For instance, there are many situations in Japan that people are pushing each other led to dangerous and getting injured. Secondly, many individuals in some countries still prefer using their own vehicle to commute. Such as in Vietnam, residents ride motorbikes or cars so that they could arrive to the destination faster instead of using public transportation even though Vietnam now is having metro for people.

In conclusion, using public transportation or cars, it depends on people’s choices. If the government, consider to build more roads or let people using public commutation, they should think wisely and analyzing things to bring the benefits to individuals.
