It is argued that by encouraging secondary school students to guestion and critisize their teachers, the educational quality can be fostered, while other people are concerned that this may have adverse effects, such as disrespectful to the teachers and exacerbating disciplines. I support the view that with the help of asking and suggesting own ideas, pupils may understand the materials more deeper.
Some people believe that questions and criticism make a positive contribution in pupils’ education. This is because if teachers and students will share their opinions with each other, by analysing the topics, it enable pupils to improve their creativity and develop academic skills. For example, this will be essential for all subjects as humanities, because for many students these informations are challenging, which teachers’ analysing will be helpful to understand the theme effectively. As a result, questions and concerns are not only beneficial, but they can also enhance students confidence and motivation.
Others believe that it may have negative impacts, leading to a loss of respect and disciplines. Due to pupils criticism of teacher, some teachers may be misunderstood, having a sense of doubt and the relationship between them may be undermined. These problems can escalate in the near future, thereby exacerbating the situation. However, these issues can be addressed if students and teachers respect their own views. As long as despite the doubt of teachers, the critical thinking skills and ideas of students is more compulsory.
In conclusion, even though questions and criticism may have negative influence to some extent, I believe that they are useful for own students.
