Due to current development in several aspects of modern society, education is regarded as one of the most vital and the most controversial one. there are increasing number in individuals assuming that high school learners should be pushed to criticize their teachers, while others think that would lead to a loss of classroom principle. Both perspectives hold their own merits and will be carefully discussed in the following paragraphs.
On the one hand, people who support the opinion that students need to be encouraged to censuring their tutors have their reasons to say so. As teachers can make mistakes while teaching without realizing it. Not only it is vital for students to feedback in order to improve the next lessons quality, but also it can help to avoid knowledge misconception for weaker learners. A pertinent example of this is Chinese students usually take notes about their teacher’s mistakes to give a significant feedback after class. These effective notes can provide a full view about the lesson so that teacher can improve their weakness, enhance their strength to bring the most suitable session for their learners. Additionally, teacher’s behavior can bring their pupils a sense of discomfort, only if the students give their opinions about this problems, the educators can find out their weak points in communicating and fix it in the next class, which can offer enhancement in studying performance and results.
On the other hand, the contrary view of this topic also brings clear upsides of assuming so. When pupils can freely give their perspectives about the class these criticisms can accidently affect to teachers feeling and mental health. Even worse, students can also have extremist action such as spamming texts, calls. This not only impacts tutors mental well-being, but also shows the increase in disrespect in scholastic rules of learners which negatively influenced their mindsets and behaviors.
For instance, there is a rise in Chinese mentors facing with students criticisms and their radical action. These students harass their own teachers, put them into a stressful situation, leading to most of their tutors resign from the job because of enormous work pressure. To motivate learners to criticize their teacher, simultaneously not putting too much pressure on them, students should avoid using bad words instead of that, they can kindly feedback to their teacher, help them to realize their mistakes without using extremist behavior.
In conclusion, despite criticizing teachers can badly affect to them and even lead to the decrease in scholastic labors, these benefits of improving class quality and helping tutors to realize their mistakes is undeniable which is the main reason for my preference in the first opinion.
