In this day and age, some individuals are of claim that the authorities should take responsibility for healthcare and education services; however, others assert it should not fall upon the government. In this essay, I am about to clarify the reasons for this statement before explaining my thoughts on this debate.
There are several reasons why people perceive that the responsibility of paying for healthcare and education services not only for governments but for inhabitants as well. To improve the overall quality of life, people have made use of natural resources, leading to many disasters such as droughts and global warming. So, they have required numerous solutions to address these issues, inquiring a large proportion of governmental fund. As a result, individuals should pay for their medical treatment and education as the way to support the government’s plans and ensure their sustainable future.
On the other hand, others claim that the governments should take the responsibility for ensuring their health and education. First, the large portion of their income has been spent on paying taxes, contributing to the governmental fund. Therefore, paying for these basic services should be shouldered on the authorities. Second, the poor cannot have enough money to pay for such services due to their tremendous costs, so the phenomenon of social inequality can be enhanced, affecting the overall quality of life.
In conclusion, the payment for wellness and education should be the responsibility of either the governments or the individuals still is a hot debate. While the governments have financial means to pay for basic services, the individuals should also take a small portion of paying them to support for the governments. By collaborating with the government, the residents can ensure their well-beings and sustainable future.
