Some individuals are of the claim that international cooperation should focus on preserving the environment, while others believe that the main responsibility of such cooperation is promoting business activities. From my perspective, I think that a synergy between profitable business and environmental protection can lead to a stable and prosperous society.
On the one hand, some argue that international collaboration should prioritize addressing environmental issues. It is true that a variety of activities including such aspects as economy or healthcare are carried out due to advantageous environmental conditions. Therefore, considering solving natural catastrophes as the utmost need would lay a foundation for a country to develop its prosperity comprehensively, creating a win-win situation in which both humans and nature can benefit. For example, if organizations keep on boosting green campaigns as “Earth Hour”, greenhouse gasses and carbon dioxide can be mitigated along with saving non-renewable energy, which assists people in preventing global warming and climate change. This would eventually foster a conducive environment for a country to concentrate on enhancing its socio-economic practices without worrying about dealing with natural disasters.
On the other hand, individuals assume that nations should work together to primarily support business trades. To illustrate, most of the international corporations are established with a view to promoting solidarity as well as strengthening the commercial network, which requires vast investment and substantial supplies. By placing the attention on business activities, international cooperation would provide agencies with opportunities to approach a new pool of customers, ensuring the financial stability of a country’s economy and indirectly helping the organization to maintain its resources. Moreover, effective environmental preservation can only be realistic with the features of advanced machines and professional workforce, so the concentration on financial trade will act as an incentive to supply humans’ need to do so.
In conclusion, international collaboration should strike a balance between protecting the environment and boosting the economy for the afromention merits. While preserving the Earth is of urgent action, it can be implemented due to finance backing, working these two patterns well would prepare future generations with a sustainable world.
