It is often argued that the most important thing for rich people is helping others as they have opportunities. While some rich people spend their time and money for themselves, I believe that helping others brings greater benefits to society and make a positive development. This is because the rich can make contribution by donating and investing their assets in essential services and organisations.
On the one hand, some rich people focus on themselves rather than supporting others because they might worked hard, so they deserve enjoying their lives. While some people are rich without any efforts because their parents are rich or they were just lucky, some people worked hard to gain the wealth. Those type of people may think that they deserve enjoying their lives as they devoted themselves in working when they were young. For instance, they may spend money in buying a mansion, a brand new car, travelling and expanding their companies. While these activities support economies, the main purposes for these are for their egos, which does not have a positive development in society.
On the other hand, I believe that rich people should help others with their wealth because they can make significant changes in society and the natural world. For example, rich people can donate money to organisations that support homeless people or the poor. Donating these services can help poor people and support organisations. Subsequently, the services could use the funding to provide facilities where homeless people can live. It helps reduce disparities between the rich and the poor, which promotes fairness in society. Furthermore, rich people can contribute to protecting the natural world by investing in wildlife protection. The money could be used for maintaining wildlife habitats, building animal protection facilities and plating trees. These arrangements could preserve the nature and endangered animals. Making such significant changes are often hard for people with standard salaries, while rich people are able to contribute a considerable amount of funding to those organisations and services. As a result, wealthy people have opportunities to make a positive impact on others.
In conclusion, although wealthy people may deserve enjoying their lives, I believe that they should consider investing in helping others. Contributing essential services and organisations could potentially reduce the financial disparity in capitalism society and also preserve the natural world.
