it is sometime believe that money is the primary motivation for employees to remain working for the same company. while I may acknowledge the logic behind this suggestion, I still firmly disagree with it for several reasons.
Proponents of this view may have several arguments. they may well argue that high salaries and generous provide finance stability and covering essential living expenses. This high level of income create a strong sense of security, which employees discourage them from risking their career. Another possible arguments is that financial bonus and regular pay rises serve as a measure of professional success. For example, when companies rewards their hard working employees with a generous salary raise, employees feel that their daily efforts are being seen, which encourage them to stay loyal to the company.
nevertheless, I still oppose this view for several reasons. Chief among these is that offering high salary for aggressive work load can create a toxic, competitive working environment. when colleagues are force to compete with each other for a high pay salary, teamwork will break down and communication between them will drop significantly, which likely result to a decline in productivity. The second reason is that career growth is not is not just matter in paycheck. for example, employees often choose to stay at organaisation have better working enviroment than the one that have stressful one
In conclusion, it is understand able why some may argue that money is the main factor behind employees motivation for retention. however, I can not support such a view given to the aforementioned reasons
