Nowadays, people are separated in two groups, first consider that studying in the university is a only way to succeed in life, while others believe that university education is overwhelmed and person can be successful without it. Personally, I support the second idea, because in modern world people have more opportunities to develop their skills without getting a degree.
First and foremost advantage of further education in universities is that in some spheres special degree is necessary. Person can not get a job without qualification and specific knowledge. The good example is such jobs as lawyer and doctor, degree in these professions plays vital role, as they have to have certain level of education. Furthermore, in some cases university education can provide person a career growth. Many international companies, as the World Bank, values workers with high education and are more likely to promote their employees with masters degrees.
On the other hand, university education does not always guarantee the success in life. All people are different and the meaning of success is different for everyone. Someone might choose strong and healthy relationships in family instead of profitable business. It is not mandatory to get a degree if person has other priorities. Moreover, there are a lot of instances, where people became rich without education. One of the example is Steve Jobs, he applied for university, but at the same year he dropped out and still he is in the top of the most successful humans in the world. Another instance can be sportsman, they do not have to get a degree to reach their achievements.
In conclusion, while for many people university education is essential part of their career, there are still people who achieved their goals without university. I believe, that university does not provide guaranteed success in life and every people can choose their own path.
