People have different views on redesigning old houses to modern ones as opposed to keeping the heritage of the ancient buildings. I personally think that the modernized approach is an important aspect for the future.
Firsly, cities are now experiencing evolution. Keeping old buildings does not really belong to developed citiies. For instance, a city like tokyo which is the capital of japan is a fast-paced, modern city full of technology in every inch. Having old buildings there seems really odd and does not match thedevelopment we are experiencing. Furthermore, due to the extremely bad weather conditions some buildings that have been there for a long time may not be able to withstand these conditions. As a result, possesing deadly risks on people living in there. In addition to this, new buildings offers a lot of new technological option such as the smart houses that are making life easier and more convenient for people.
On the other hand, some people believe that getting rid of the old buildings is a huge mistake. Not only it wipes away all the cultural and ancient importance, but also, leaves people with sad memories as they may never experience it again. This is really common with the older age group due to them being too attached to their homes. However, i do still think that investing in building modern houses outweighs this reasons due to it contributing to the welfare of society.
In conclusion, memories live in the heart, wiping away old houses will not take memories. Government should focus more in building modern buildings so that they enhance the qaulity of life of all citizens as this is undoubtedly more significant.
