In today’s modern society, the tradition of society and individualism have become a broad issue to the general public. Some people think that young people should follow the traditions of society. However, others believe that individuals should be free to behave as they wish. In my opinion, I agree with former idea. Discussed below are several reasons supporting my perspective.
First of all, social tradition educated younger people to have more manners and morals. This means that Vietnamese parents always educated and teach their children the value of bowing and thanking to their elder which shows their deep respect. For example, younger people always thank adults when they are receive a present in New Year or their birthday. Besides, social traditions are organized from living experience of older generations which was passed down for child. For example, a people Vietnamese shows tradition table manners is appreciated intelligent and polite. Furthermore, following culture tradition maintain culture and tradition beauty. For instance, Vietnamese still keep custom is celebrate Tet.
On the other hand, there are several arguments in support of the idea that individuals should be free to behave as they wish. It is also convincing to realize that I believe that if teenagers follow many tradition, they cannot create a future life for themselves. This means that they always use traditional methods for every situations and gradually losing their ability. For example, at the present time, modern fashion is increasingly developing so teenagers are accessing them but their parent prevent them from approaching them which caused disadvantage for developing country. Besides, some young people always control what they eat or what they wear.
In conclusion, the above mentioned facts have created a dilemma when people evaluate the impact of this issue, and it is still a controversial issue. As far as I am concerned, I put more highlight on the idea former. People should have further consideration on this issue.
