Recently, there has been a controversial topic among two groups of people, some individuals believe that the youth should commit to traditional standards, while others argue that they should have freedom to behave as they wish. From my own perspective, I lean toward the latter for some reasons that will be elucidated in subsequent paragraphs.
To begin with, young generation often has a shortage of real-world experiences and knowledge, while conventional standards have been accumulated by the ancients so far. Engaging in those standards will entitle young individuals to climb higher on their career ladders. This could be exemplified by the fact that teenagers who have respecful behaviors to the elderly can attain higher postion within their career future. This is by the virtue of the fact that the societal system has been operated mostly by older individuals, showing respect to older people and following traditional values assisting the younger to cultivate ethics and manner that boosts up their self-esteem and prestige in the society.
In contrast, if young people could freely to express themselves, they are able to become more creative and have stronger personalities. In contemporary society, there are a multitude of gifted teenagers, who have a bundle of ideas that needs rooms to demostrate. The gorvernment as well as older generations should provide those individuals with reasonable condition to nurture their desires and sense of creativity. As a result, their inventions could contribute to technology advancements, also enhance human life in many aspects, such as healthcare system, improving productivity and flourishing the national economy.
In conclusion, although both of views have been under debate, I offer that youthful people should be inspired to live a life as they wish to.
