A portion of population believe that government should not allocate nation’s budget on international issues due to poverty problems in their country, such as the unemployed and vagrants. In my opinion, it is important to focus on the current problems in each own country but it is also essential to help others in need.
To begin with, current economic status are not in a good state. A lot of countries are facing economic difficulties, which leads to growing number of unemployment and homeless people. As the authority of the nation, it is the government responsibility to take care of their civilians so they can thrive.
On the other hand, some countries do encounter much more worse situations, such as war and terrorism, and their only hope is to depend on other countries aid. Furthermore, aiding other nations can help build good and stronger relationship between both sides. But, other than money, we can help by sending rations, health care, or manpower.
In conclusion, government should prioritize nation’s allocation money towards their civilians since it is their task. But, we also cannot overlook the importance of helping other parts of the world so we can maintain a good relations with others. In this matter, rather than not providing aid at all, authorities should regulate national spending more objectively.
