It is believed by some that people ought to retain all the money that they earn without paying to the government. I completely disagree this notion as it the state that provides its people with free of charge medical opportunities and free education.
One of the main reasons why people should allocate for a small amount of money for the government is that free hospital is provided by the state. Which means that, people no longer have to pay extra money for hospital services that have already been paid. If people did not pay taxes for such aids when they are in need of help, people would really struggle with taking care of themselves, because everyone may have dark days, on those days the paid taxes come to rescue. Thus, it is important that people pay some sort of taxes in order to secure their health when they become sudden ill.
Free education is another factor why citizens ought to pay certain amount of money from their wage. The more people support their state with monetary aids, the more the country prosper. I think that people do not pay the state, but invest to have a better future for their kids. The spent money can be used to build new schools universities where students can gain way better knowledge and expertise with cutting edge technology. Without these conditions, it is quite complicated to teach. Take South Africa as an example where the students are lacked modernized building and technology without having proper education and the country are experiencing economic downturn.
In conclusion, I think it is totally wrong to retain all the salary without paying any taxes, as the government play a part in supporting people with quality education with latest gadgets and free hospital service 24/7, which are fundamental factors to succeed in every country in the long run.
