Band 4: Some people think young people should be required to have full time education until they are at least 18 years old. To what extent do you agree or disagree? (User-Written IELTS Writing Task 2 Essay)

Full time education has been neglected by several people. Many individuals believe that students under the age of 18 ought to be required to receive full time education. From my point of view, I completely agree with young learners having a full time education. This essay will argue why male and female students under the age of 18 should get full time education.

There is a number of men and women who think that having full time education as a young student below 18 years old is a wrong idea. They believe that having full time education is a waste of time because students under the age of 18 can use that time to earn money and improve their economic state by learning how to invest in the stock market and trade online currencies, like Bitcoin and Dogecoin. Indeed, a recent study conducted at the University of Oxford indicates that 55% of the world’s richest individuals did not receive full time education when they were below 18 years old.

Despite the study and its result, there are many cons of not getting full time education being under the age of 18. 55% is not a large number to rely on, and not all people succeed at investing and trading online currencies. For instance, one of my young relatives who is 15 years old, is focusing on trading online currencies and not receiving full time education and his parents are careless, despite the small profit he gained, he failed multiple times and he is considering giving up, he realised that making a living is a bit too early for him and is not easy.

In conclusion, many people are considering not giving their under-18 boys and girls full time education, which is concerning. This essay argued why not giving below 18 people full time education is an unreasonable idea.
