I believe that going through the period of elementary school until high school is needed since it will provide basic skills and knowledges that is necessary to face the high level education. In other words, those who are well-educated will have enough experience to deal with problems later after high school. For instance, students who have passed formal education must have gone through lots of problems, from the lesson’s difficulty or with their friends. This will definitely help them a lot to cope with problems in the future. Some countries have made full time learning mandatory for their citizens.
Additionally, many of today’s job requirements ask the applicants to have finished high school level or even higher. For example, nowadays, the Human Resoure Development team from many companies are always asking for the applicant’s latest education, achievements, and other experiences. This is because people at this level already have a mature thinking ability and social experience.
To sum up, young people should be required to have full time formal education since it is crucial to be well-prepared when they go to university or start a career.
