I support the opinion that it is a must for young people to pursue proper education until specific age ( 18 years old) because they need the common knowledge to sort all kinds of information and choosing the right information. However, there maybe several reasons that makes them not finishing their studies. Thus, these reasons will be further explained the reason in the essay.
In my opinion, common knowledge is important to teach people to sort their information source, and we can retrieve that from formal education. As far as I am concerned, in developing countries, many people were not educated properly in common knowledge. Many people think that education is not as important because they can learn from the social media that is full of information, but they couldn’t check on the information because they are lack of education. This opinion is supported by the fact that in social media, many young people believed about false information right away and without hesitating, spread the information to their relatives without checking the fact first.
In the other hand, many young people didn’t pursue further education because they are too poor to afford a higher education, so they choose to work instead. So, they tend to work as early as possible than to pursue education to help their family situations. For example, in rural areas, many people is choosing not continuing their studies because they need to help their parents, who is sick to earn money.
Complete formal education is very important for young people. The most important about formal education is the common knowledge they teach in schools. Unfortunately, many people still cannot afford these education because their economic situation. In my opinion, It is best if people can pursue higher education to pick their right source.
