Several schools have very rigorous rules about school uniforms and the outward of their students, however other schools very mild about this. This essay will examine the advantages and disadvantages of school uniform rules and provide a logical conclusion.
The two main advantages of wearing a school uniform are reducing distractions during lessons and helps them feel responsible. Firstly, strict dress code helps focusing better on lessons and students less diverting. Furthermore these advantages help pupils acquire more knowledges and information on lessons. For example, when all students in classroom sit in same clothes it provides to better concentration. Secondly, with school uniform students feel responsible about study. Strict uniform hold students in shape which directly involve in behavior and study. For instance, shirt, trousers and tie causes pupils behave more restrainedly.
However, strict dress code also has several major disadvantages like uncomfortable and boring uniform. Uncomfortable school uniforms cause some health troubles for students. Skinny or loose uniforms lead to over pressure for body or increases chance to falling over. For instance, very skinny trousers acts on comfort when students walking and leads to over pressure when student sitting down or moving. What’s more pupils in primary schools think school uniforms are boring and identical. Young students don’t want to wear rigorous uniform. For example, some primary schools more mild about dress code for young students. Despite these drawbacks, the benefits of a strict dress code often outweigh the negatives.
To conclude, although rigorous school uniforms have certain disadvantages such as uncomfortable for wearing and boring for young pupils, but it also has positive impact for adult students and help them for better consuming information and also has affect on their behavior.
