In our current era, the prevalence of online learning is on the rise. Therefore, many universities are replacing traditional classroom instruction with virtual courses. From my perspective, I firmly believe this is a harmful growth. The following paragraph will present my viewpoint clearly.
Despite the fact that university students are mature enough to control themselves to focus on their studies, they may be distracted by the environment around them, such as traffic or parental activities-especially for those people who live near main streets. Additionally, the lack of face-to-face interaction can hinder communication and understanding between students and professionals, which can lead to the quality of studies decrease as students do not have enough confidence to ask their teachers when they do not understand lessons throughly. For example, the period admid the COVID-19 pandemic when a significant number of university students needed to study online. This shift left many individuals deficient in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, impacting their preparedness for real-life work scenarios.
Furthermore, universities serve not only great places for people to study but also provide opportunities for students to expand their relationships, which is typically essential for their future work. For instance, prestigious schools are always purchased by individuals since these are good environments for people to meet others who have a higher status in society.
In conclusion, while online learning offers convenience, it simultaneously prevents students from establishing meaningful connections with peers and educators, hindering their overall learning experience and limiting their ability to build crucial relationships for the future.
