In this temporary era, due to the rapid escalation of technology, educational methods have always been a topic of interest. Some tertiary institutions offer virtual disciplines instead of classes delivered at school. To the best of my notion, this is positive news, however, some drawbacks may require serious consideration before applying.
On one hand, acquiring knowledge of higher education is difficult thus students are required to be always at optimal attention to obtain a good score. It can be challenging for certain students to focus on studying outside of campus because of several distractions ranging from technology difficulties to lack of attention. These such issues while studying online are detrimentally impact on their academic performance.
On the other hand, it is undeniable that studying virtually brings several advantages. Firstly, students freely choose their study locations, including a coffee shop, libraries, or their homes. It creates a conducive environment for them to obtain the most productive classes, thus it enhances their studying motivation over time. Secondly, there is concrete evidence that it facilitates the disability to approach tertiary education. Daily commuting has always been one of the most tremendous issues they might face while pursuing college. Thanks to these virtual classes, they can now save more time to focus on acquiring knowledge. Thirdly, online courses do not require the learners to come to campuses, in other words, it alleviates exhaust emissions while traveling to such locations, and mitigates the traffic congestion significantly.
In conclusion, despite the drawbacks of studying virtually, I am convinced that this is a positive trend that will significantly improve the current tertiary institutional difficulties. Additionally, such negative will be mitigated in the years to come.
