According to the researches, young people nowadays prefer to maintain relationships online, prefering not to meet face-to-face. Although lack of socialisation is considered as one of the biggest disadvatages of modernisation and its integral part, I have some suggestions how to tackle this problem.
First and foremost, the government should not deny its responsibility in solving this issue of modern generation. The government in charge of the brighter future of youngsters. As a key solution I consider passing a relevant law which could encouarage young generation to socialise, to keep them busy by doing more traditional activities than spending time scrolling social media and exchanging messages with online friends. Government may adapt the policy of other countries which are able to manage the similar problem in their own countries. For example, in some social policies include group activities in nature which backed by government.
The responsibility for socialisation of teenagers also incumbents upon parents. This brings me to the next suggestion: tailored courses for parents about ways to keep their children socialised. Some parents are confident about what to do to encourage their children to social interractions. However, there are also parents who have no idea about that. I there were special courses teaching parents, there would be less atraction for keeping relationships mostly online.
In conclusion, we should accept that innovations, modern technologies, and globalisation make us more and more virtual, separating us from each other. However, as I mentioned above, there are some effective ways to have modern technology and not lose social interactions. If we start apply these solutions right now, we have chance to see the results in the imminent future.
