Research depicts that, in a lot of nations, humans live more than normal life expectancy. But this has many effects on people, and for the whole country as well. The possible consequences of longer life expectancy for individuals and society are discussed in the subsequent paragraphs.
First and foremost, the presence of elder people among us is a blessing for all of us. Their presence provides us with a great foundation that everybody needs in childhood. Old people think more practically and help us with the experiences they had in their past. Furthermore, in today’s era, where inflation is at its peak, and both parents have to work to have a decent living, if children’s grandparents are near them their childhood will be always fruitful. To exemplify, a study says that little ones who are brought up by their grandparents lead to more developed life including culture, education, and more rather than young ones who spend their childhood in private organizations like cretch.
On the other hand, aged human beings sometimes after their retirement tend to work in offices with less pay which does affect the younger individuals because, then they have to struggle to get a good opportunity, or work at lesser wages. Many advocates, who are above the age of 60 are still hired by many organizations owing to which younger humans face unemployment. For example, a study indicates, that organizations for some positions are more eager to hire aged individuals, who have more experience and are less demanding in wages.
To conclude, yes elder individuals do shower us with their experience, and provide us with great learning whether it is culture, discipline, or manners, but sometimes their wish to work after a certain age puts young people in a difficult situation.
