It has become increasingly common for some people to believe that learning family history is beneficial, but some argue that present and future are better. I agree with the former view due to showing cultural history and discovering skills.
On the one hand, there are clear arguments that family history research. One of the main reasons is that a past member of the family might have been an embarrassment which is best forgotten. If they have done wrong in the past, it can influence their descendants. Another reason is that people might discover secrets that are damaging to family members today. As a result, they may suffer from these realities and even become stressed.
On the other hand, I agree with the viewpoint that family history should be opened. Firstly, I believe that researching family history can show cultural history. Therefore, they become aware of the actions of their ancient ancestors, and they learn to endure many hardships. And they will not achieve their goals easily. Secondly, I also feel that there might be common skills to discover within a family’s history. That is, abilities are passed from gene to gene. They can develop through learning.
In conclusion, although present and future history ought to be learned by being bad news and affecting the future of the family, however, I believe that discovering family history is useful because of knowing about cultural history and discovering abilities.
