It is often said that future generations will experience poorer health standards than people today. I completely agree with this statement, as the combined forces of modern lifestyles and the mental toll of digital dependency are destroying our physical well- being.
First of all, children and adults just don’t move around like they used to. Instead of playing outside or walking, everyone is just stuck to a screen. Adding to that , the food we eat is getting worse. It is way too easy to just eat fast food, chips and chocolates everyday because they taste good. All this junk food and sitting on the couch is already making people get sick with things like diabetes and obesity when they are still really young. In the future, this will only get worse.
Another problem is the amount of time we spend on devices like ipads by staying up late watching videos or texting which leads to a reduction in the amount of hours we sleep. This makes people stressed out, sleepy, irritated, and anxious all the time. Being stressed and tired messes up your body and makes you more prone to sickness. Since future generations will probably have even more screens around them, their health is going to be affected more. These days many kids refuse to eat unless there is a digital screen in front of them.
In conclusion, hospitals technology and doctors gt more modern and smarter. But that will only help fix people after they get sick. Because of terrible food habits, lack of exercise, and addiction to technology, the average standard of peoples health is likely to be lower in future than it is now.
