The bar graph given demonstrates the percentage of individuals visiting cinemas in a European country on various days of the week from 2003 to 2007. The weekends remained a popluar choice for most of the people throughout the years and received the highest percentage of foot traffic.
In 2003, 40% of the population went to cinema on Saturdays. In contrast to this, Sunday received 30% while Fridays attracted 30% of the people. From among the weekdays, the higher proportion was observed on Tuesday at 20%. The lowest figure can be seen on Monday at 10%.
Over the next few years, the weekends saw an increase in the percentage of people paying a visit to cinemas. Furthermore, some of the weekdays also became an option for the movie-goers, with Tuesday and Monday being the preffered one. In addition to this, the foot traffic reduced to 7% on Thursday and Wednesdays. Finally, proportion of movie lovers remained stagnant on Friday at 30% throughout the years.
