Band 4+: The bar shows the percentage of people going to cinemas in one European country on different days.

The chart above illustrates a proportion of Cinema visits of Europeans during certain days from 2003 to 2007.

It is clear that people are more likely to visit a Cinema in weekends rather than in week days due to the fact that people commonly visiting amusements as leisure.

Specifically, in 2003, cinema-goers, as the bar chart introduces, haven’t been inclined to visit such a facility on Monday within only 10 percent of people which is considered as the most lowest, whereas Tuesday and Wednesday represent the percentage between 15 and 20. Compared to others, Sunday and Saturday reflect the most highest proportion of visits within 30 and 40 percent respectively. On Friday 30 percent of cinema-goers used to attend a cinema, while on other days the highest percentage was on Tuesday, at 20 percent, and the lowest was on Thursday, at approximately 12 percent.

Over a few following years, proportion of people visiting a Cinema during weekends slightly increased to nearly 45 percent on Saturday and a little more than 30 percent on Sundays respectively. Visits on Monday increased for about 2 percent, controversially Tuesday and Thursday decreased. MeanWhile Friday remained constant during three years.
