According to some people, to build up a happy family life for children, parents should have to attend parenting courses annually. I completely agree with making mandatory courses because of its realistic and significant benefits to children’s well-being.
We cannot deny that children are directly affected by parental nourishment, this reinforces reasons for fathers and mothers to participate in parenting classes. Firstly, parents play an important role in modeling children’s personality and behaviors in formative years. In this stage, children often have a tendency to imitate and repeat what their father or mom does. The simulation can be seen, for example, when parents have a healthy lifestyle, this naturally encourages their children to have the same positive daily routines. Secondly, the family also contributes to instilling values for childrens by communicating and understanding them. Meaning conversations between parents and their offsprings not only help to increase interpersonal empathy but also strengthen the family bond . Additionally, the close-knitted relationship makes parents become a stable moral support for their children. However, although fathers and mothers all take care of their offspring by love, not everyone knows how to give exact parental guidance for a loving family. So, to improve parental skills, it is worth considering opening mandatory parenting courses.
Having attended parenting classes, fathers and mothers can gain numerous skills and knowledge that helps maintain the family life smoothly. That fulfilling environment for children requires many criteria that parents cannot respond to by caring naturally. To build up children’s well-being, parents need to learn particular knowledge such as psychological insights, healthcare…Equipping themselves with these specific parental acquaintances is an indispensable condition for fathers and mothers to comprehensively nourish a child’s both physical and mental health. Children thriving in a loving and supportive environment helps to avoid unexpected conflict between family members and not create generation gaps. Thus, parental courses truly give a chance for families to be more close-knit.
In conclusion, due to parents’ significant contribution to building children’s happy family life, they need to instill themselves to be knowledgeable and skilful. And I believe the parenting courses have given opportunities to realize that.
