It is argued that the libraries will not be necessary when the internet is being prevalent. From my perspective, I do not advocate this viewpoint due to the magnitude of books and documents in library.
On the one hand, libraries are acknowledged for a combination of reasons. First and foremost, although there would be a variety of information on the internet, it couldn’t be found through exotic books and it is just usually discovered in libraries. For expertise or studied cases, the document would be easier in the libraries. For example, it would be extremely hard for a doctor to enhance their knowledge about heart diseases on a website or social media platforms. Additionally, real books could boost the gratification for bookaholics than e-books. When the readers spend too much time on the screen, they could be called a “screenager” and it could be affected to the eye such as eye-shortening, strain eyes, and so on. Based on science studies, it is estimated that spending over 2 hours a day on the internet could not only cause physical health problems but also trauma in mental health. Furthermore, there are a lot of ideal places in the libraries where we could go to read books to change the atmosphere and improve our satisfaction.
On the other hand, it could not be denied the merits of using the internet. With a lot of e-books and websites, mobile apps can limit the time on finding exactly the books we want. Moreover, online books are more convenient because we can read anywhere, any time anđ reduce our budget when you do not pay for the cost of libraries.
In conclusion, although the internet has produced many potential profits for us, I believe that libraries are still the best methods.
