Band 5+: The government should sometimes infringe on people's freedom for the security of society. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In recent years, there has been a noticeable trend where encroaching on personal privilege rights could be seen illegal and inhumane. However, I firmly believe that the Government must interfere with people’s rights to prevent a potential threat from terrorism and crime, because citizens security must be prioritized in most cases.

To begin with, government’s role is strongly necessary in community’ s lifestyle by trespassing on individual privacy rights. Thanks to personal data, administration has more chances to find out and plan a timely prevention from daily danger such as armed robbery, controlling the pace of citizens behavior. What’s more, disorders and society unrest maybe emerged uncontrollably, influencing local governments’ operation. As a result, the government’s invasion of people’s information is necessary for the purpose of maintaining peace in individuals. To illustrate the point, the latest news has shown that anyone who is a dweller in the USA using a smart phone will receive a notification about evacuating emergency when earthquake occurs by the infringing on people’s freedom.

On of top that, interceding on administrative missions is essential in checking stages with safety regulation in a variety of fields. The marine transportation industry has numerous containers and workers, so the violation of government is vital to prevent accidents and protect workers well-being. Moreover, if the enforced principle must not be complied with regularly, the safety rules would not operate effectively and execute smoothly. Consequently, the lack of labor sources and national budget is the main reason for disregarding common standards and law systems. For instance, stringent safety protocols for staff, consisting of random medical tests and licensing requirements which have contributed to a dramatic decrease in working accidents and enhance public safety.

In conclusion, it is apparent the mentioned trend allways has strong opposition from the local areas, which stems from encroaching on people’s freedom. Anyway, the resident’s safety must be taken care of by following the individual data that is a requirement that aims to maintain a flourishing nation and is an essential part human advantage
