At present, the demand for the publıc services is on the surge, and many assert that government should allocate the maximum sum in the societal serve rather than pursuing contributıons to arts, entailing musıc and theatre. This essay will elucidate why I indeed do not advocate that perspective and if the government does so, what kind of impacts may emerge.
The reason why the majority of people support this standpoint is that they do not realize the importance of arts. In the personal sphere, especially music plays a crucial role. Although a segment of individuals loves to listen to music, they might not fully comprahend its profound impacts. For illustrate, music is a reflectıon of one’s emotions; when peering into emotions, humankind is likely to listen to sad music because that song usually demonstrates not only our feelings but also enables us to hear what we indeed intend to say or admit but are afraid of. Likewise, theatres and similar shows should be one of the government’s priorities. There is a great contribution to our well-being while broadening our horizons and rise awareness of various real-life issues. Overall, from my point of view, a society devoid of both contemporary or conventional music and theatre manners cannot be considered as healthy and enriched.
A by-product of this, those requests primarily come from poor countries. Even though people are keen on arts, due to bad public service circumstances, they may want to generate an everyday conveniences. Provided that governments are not adequate in terms of providing essential amenities such as advanced public transportation, locals may even launch a rebellion. The government should be adress these fundamental needs prior conducting investments in external facilities. However, despite such exceptions, I wholeheartedly refuse to support the idea of allocating all money to public services.
In essence, the more neglect towards music and theatres, the less development of the society’s horizon. For example, without music, people might struggle to express themselves potentially leadin to social isolation. Hence, investments in public service should integrate support for the arts, particularly preserving theatre traditions, to prevent misuse and poor communication behaviors. Consequently, it still remains controversial. Yet, the significance of the arts should not be disregarded.
