In today’s modern era, entertainment has become an integral part of our daily lives, offering both advantages and disadvantages. While many inhabitants argue that authorities should spend money in public care giving instead of arts, music and theatre whereas others feel that it is waste of money. Consequently, I will explore the both sides of argument and provide my overall opinion.
To begin with, there are significant reasons why authorities take place in investment in art, music and theatre. Perhaps, government wants to obtain culture and tradition of the nation, another reason could be entertainment, it is needed to be done to refresh their citizen mind. For example, a number of the family of the country wants to go outside in weekend, among of them fewer go to the cinema to watch the movies so theatre is needed with well facilities. Additionally, almost everyone listens the music to obtain refresh and the arts is the portrait of a nation, all of these reasons government should invest more money in these particular fields.
On the other hand, arts, music and theatre allow to generate the tax revenue which are great income source of the country. For instance, the USA government generates a significant amount from Hollywood because they built up opportunities for their artists. Moreover, Justin Biber earns revenue from all over the world by signing song. Thus, artists, musician and cinema have enabled great income source of the nation.
To sum up, although the investment in public service is needed to be done, investment in entertainment is also crucial for the country. However, I strongly disagree with provided statement that investment is not waste of money, it is needed. If we want to obtain our culture and tradition, we need government concern.
