Band 4+: The graph below shows the number of library books read by boys and girls at Starmouth School from 2006 to the present

The line graph compares information about the quantity of school library books which have been read by boys and girls at Starmouth School since 2006.

Overall, it is clear that, there are upward patterns in the number of books read by boys and girls.

On the one hand, according to data about boys, at the beginning of the period, approximately 50 books were read and the next year, it showed significant growth and reached 80. Similarly, in 2011 boys read 20 more books compared to the number of books read in 2010 (80 books). However, at the end of the period it dropped significantly from 100 to 80.

On the other hand, in 2009 girls read only 25 books, the contrary, then it increased gradually by 15 books. Moreover, number of books read by female students in Starmouth School experienced a dramatic increase from 40 to 100 between the years of 2010 and 2011. Furthermore, it went up by 40 books and reached 140 in 2012. Additionally, it hit the highest point in 2012 (140 books), starting with 25 books in 2009.
