The growing number of overweight people is putting strain on the health system. Solution physical education in curriculum. Agree or disagree
Nowadays, we can see the health system is dealing with an increasing rate of overweight individuals. Some people believe that adding physical education as a subject in school can be beneficial in order to tackle this problem. I agree with this statement, but there should be proper guidance for people on a healthy diet as well.
Introducing physical education subject in schools can be the best way to handle the outgrowth of obese people. The new generation is spending most of their time sitting at computers playing games or studying thus they become lazy and overweight, they hardly go to gym or playgrounds so adding possible physical activities in their school will help them to get fit and active. Moreover, this method can contribute to youngsters taking an interest in sports activities and becoming good players in future.
However, just physical activities are not enough to reduce the number of obese people in the long run, a healthy diet should be also considered. If the new generation is acknowledged about what is a healthy diet and what should be avoided in order to promote clean eating, that will help the wide range of population to maintain their weight and overall health. Also, Government can also contribute to healthy eating by reducing the cost of vegetables and protein food.
To conclude, the introduction of physical education and healthy eating in schools can be proved as effective method to reduce the number of overweight people and maintaining the overall individual health.
