People have been exploiting resources of the mother nature for their needs throughout the history. Our planet had too much of them to be exhausted by mankind. However that fact doesn’t work in modern world since the middle of the 20th century, because population has been rose enormously. With the tendency of increasing population also increased the demands of humanity for energy around the world. We are rapidly exhausting the resources of mother nature, this is a serious problem that we have to solve.
The major cause of the problem is the growth of number of people. Today in our planet live about 8 billion of humans. To supply such an gigantic number of them we need to exploit the energy of the planet at maximum. We need to supply hundread thousands of plants and factories, provide with heat all the houses, provide with electricity every appliances, produce large amounts of oil for cars and produce new technological machines.
There is also another reason for this issue. Companies, plants and factories that are producing such aplliances don’t want to transit onto new techniques of manufacturing that would led to use less resources but demands for a huge investments and spents. They rather remain old-fashioned, harmful for envrionment, yet reliable methods. For instance, according to the data by RECLAIM significant percentage of factory machines are exploiting more than 10 years, because it’s expensive to change or improve them; even if the old machines cause pollution to the environment.
In conclusion, we have done a lot of breakthroughs in our history, we have changed the world so it became ideal for out lives. But, we are running down the resources of the Earth, and this will affect us in the future. We have to resolve this issue.
