In recent years, the majority food delivery services experienced significant increase. However, it causes negative effects including eating junk food and environmental pollution from waste producte. This essay will discuss main problem associated with this issue and suggest possible solution to overcome them.
One of the main causes of the problem is that eating harmful foods. What I mean by this is that in today’s world number of people’s eating habit changed throughout the food delivery. Additionaly, it leads to mental disease such as obesity and heart diabets. For instanse, many restaurant or food companies menu consist junk or fast food. Moreover, this menu usually haven’t written food composition and engridients. Anyway people strive to buy this product, this is lack of knowlege about food. The solution for the government to educate people about balanced diet. Moreover, restaurant should offer calorie information. And food apps can provide healthy meals.
Another problem is that pollution from packaging. In other words, most food deliveries use non-recycable or plastic packaging. What’s more, it causes serious environmental damage including water pollution, ocean, and end up landfillds. For example, people often use plastic and non recycable product and they don’t threw it trash bin and recycle. Moreover, it leads not only water pollution it is also main reason for air pollution. To tackle this issue, government should receive a tax for caused pollution and restaurants must use only eco friendly packaging.
All things considered, food delivery has become much more alarming problem, due to the reason such as pollution and health problem. My view is that main responsibility for solving the problem lies on government and restaurants.
